Testing.
NEW for 2010 is the grading of Warmblood Outcross mares - please contact the
KSGB if you have a mare you would like graded in order to breed KNN passported
Knabstruppers.
Breed standard and approved outcross information is listed on the KSGB website
Mares have to be a minimum of 3 years old to be graded, and colts can be
inspected at 2.5 years old. There are youngstock evaluation classes for horses
that are younger - this provides an opportunity for youngstock to be evaluated
prior to their full grading.

These gradings are a prime opportunity to see the largest gatherings of Knabstruppers in England and Scotland - entries include mares and stallions - some of which will be undertaking their performance test. If you are thinking of bringing a Knabstrupper for grading in the future, are interested in buying one of these wonderful horses, or are simply curious as to what actually goes on at the grading, please come along - spectators are most welcome!

Lovely strong, big moving colt, by Showmaker (Westf) out of Engel vom Birkenhof KNN 2381, he has striped hooves and characteristics, so should spot out in time.
