in Scotland!

to Ann Pinkerton, on the West Coast of Scotland, on the arrival of their Knabstrupper
filly, at 9am on the 11th July.
Freya is out
of an 8yo TB mare (Weatherby registered), and is by Fintel KNN 125,
owned by Lochlibo Stud in Ayrshire.
Freya is
exquisite with beautiful head. Both mare and filly will be offered for
sale together shortly.
Freya is
pictured a few hours after her birth, what a dainty filly she is!

chestnut blanket colt is out
of Cranswick's Maybrit (DKDV) and by their resident

at lunchtime on 25th June - what a considerate mare!

Wealleans from York on the birth of her second Knabstrupper of 2009, this
time an exquisite filly.
Clarissa was born on 16th May,
and is by
Cornelius KNN 153, the stallion with the highest EVER performance score, out of
Bjørnhøjgårds Comfi KNN 2141 (Compact OLD 695 DK).
Clarissa is bay with two hind socks and a snip, and is only the second foal
by Cornelius to be born, the other is in Denmark and is being retained by
the breeder. It is anticipated Clarissa will be offered for sale.

2009 - continuing their filly year!
The main book
minimally marked filly is out of Rozel Bay (BWBS graded TB) and by
their resident fewspot stallion, Nobody's Harlequin KNN 166. The
Filly was born a few days early on 1st May
This filly,
called Hozana, is full sister to Tresaison Gracie, grading champion
of 2007 who is pictured with her colt foal below.

of 2009.
The as yet unnamed colt
is by Smokey Bear - a Palomino Irish Sport Horse, out of their Knabstrupper
mare Sartors Spotted Angela.
Suspected palomino base
coat (difficult to tell on day one!) with an extended blanket, blaze and
four stockings, this colt is very flashy.
Expected to make 15.2hh+

Monty (stable name) is
HUGE - born on 3rd May by
Harry Potter at Little Uncle KNN 173 out of 2007 grading champion,
Tresaison Gracie KNN 2327.
Monty has white sclera, striped hooves, a tiny snip and a flurry of spots on his rump.
Expected to make at least 16.2hh, he is expected to colour out further and
will be offered for sale.

Another Scottish Knabstrupper Foal born at Blacklaw Stud!

on the birth of another lovely Knabstrupper
filly, although these congratulations are tinged with sadness......
Blacklaw Xing Xing is a
super filly. Born 22.04.2009 she is a stunning bay by
Blacklaw Xcalibur out of their
Grade A SJ mare, Harmony Dawn xx by Rolfe xx.
Xing Xing is a rare surviving twin. Her brother a delightful colt was sadly
stillborn.
Xing Xing name means twin stars.... she is named after herself & her
brother. Mother & daughter so far doing well. Xing has the typical
Knabstrupper love for food which is hopefully helping her do well.

Clack who has just taken delivery of the first ever foal by
Tornado af Knabstrup!
She was born at
4am on 20th April. A lovely chestnut near leopard filly out of
Just Emerald, her Weatherbys registered chestnut thoroughbred mare. The
foal is expected to mature to approx 15.2hh and will be for sale upon
weaning..
She is to be
called Waterbank Freyja, and what a stunner she is! Looking forward to
the other first crop Tornado foals due this year.

He was born on
Monday 13th April. A stunning bay leopard colt
by Angelo af Asgard (Ghost) out
of Nadja, who had a very long
pregnancy indeed!
Nadja was camera
shy... Apparently she started labour out in the field. Sarah managed to get
her into the stable at the last minute....

Ghost - he certainly is producing the goods for you!

Here she is

wet after being born on Friday 13th March. A stunning black blanket filly
by Angelo af Asgard (Ghost) out of the Trakehner mare Holme Park Kossette.
