Thoroughbred XX (recognized in the Danish Warmblood, Trakhener or Arabian-breeding)

Arabian (graded by National Horse Association)

New Forest

Welsh (ponies - not Welsh Cob)

Connemara

Danish Sports Pony

Shetland

Dartmoor

Outcrossing with grey stallions of above breeds is not permitted.

If you cover a graded Knabstrupper mare with a stallion from one of the breeds listed above, it is possible to get KNN registration papers and brand if the mare owner notifies the administrator of the stallion list before 1st November in the year of the covering.
