This young sport horse stallion is available to a limited number of selective mares.
Bred to produce performance stock, he makes an ideal cross with Warmblood, Thoroughbred or cross bred mares and, because he is a homozygous few spot, he is guaranteed to throw offspring that are spotted in some way or another.
He has wonderful elastic and elevated paces, correct conformation and 9” of good bone.
Harley
is 87.5% Knabstrupper in the third generation, classed as a pure bred and
one of only a handful of fully KNN Graded Knabstruppers currently standing in the
His bloodlines include the famous and very influential, now sadly deceased Xanthos, arguably THE best known stallion in Denmark, Don Ibrahim, Tyfon, Rasmus af Damgård to name a few. His sire, Norkrons Harlequin, is one of very few Knabstrupper Stallions to have passed the 30 day performance test.
Harley was professionally broken in early 2005 and is showing a tremendous amount of aptitude on the flat, as well as a huge enjoyment of jumping.
Harley was graded by the KNN at the first UK Grading in October 2005. His
overall mark was 8. He was then presented to the judges for his
final grading and Performance Assessment in 2006. Harley
passed in fine style, with 840 points out of a possible 1000 for his
performance assessment, and his overall marks, once again, were 8 from
both the Baroque and Sport Horse judges. He was also judged Best in Show
2006.
